Corporate Identity and new working models – the new Covestro Campus as a beacon project for working the future

The materials manufacturer Covestro is pressing ahead with the expansion of its Leverkusen site and is building the "Covestro Campus", a new office building complex that will open up new job opportunities for 700 Covestro employees and represent an important milestone in Covestro's corporate identity.

In the office building, Covestro intends to implement new forms of cooperation and modern findings in workplace design for which ideas had previously been developed together with the employees.

As a basis for the preparation and monitoring of internal communication on the subject of campus and the new working model, a communicative basic concept was developed and updated over the course of the project.

Internal Communication / Corporate Identity

Accompaniment of the change process in connection with the new workplace model

Which new working environments offer advantages for employees as well as for companies and how can the introduction of new working models be prepared and supported? This question was at the centre of Covestro's preparations for the new "Campus", an innovative construction project that will enable new ways of designing workplaces and thus point the way for new forms of cooperation at Covestro.

The working environment concept of Activity Based Working facilitates cooperation and increases its efficiency. But it also means questioning components of the work that have always been considered set - such as a fixed workplace in one and the same place.

The digitalisation of the world of work and generational change are accelerating the development of new working models. But this development also brings with it uncertainties and many questions. Therefore, a communicative basic concept laid the foundation for the introduction of the project in employee communication and its integration into external corporate communication.
