From Support Unit to Business Enabler: The projects implemented by SpiessConsult include, in addition to strategic communications consulting, specific individual and design measures such as the development and implementation of the corporate image of Bayer Business Services in PowerPoint presentations and flyers, communication on various topics and services as well as the branding of events and the implementation of the corresponding materials.
Bayer Business Services – known only briefly as Business Servives since 2016 – is Bayer's global competence center for IT and business services and supports the Group's business processes with high-quality services and innovative solutions. The products and services cover the core segments of IT Infrastructure & Applications, Procurement and Trade Services, HR Services, Finance & Accounting and Management Consulting.
SpiessConsult has been supporting the overarching communications strategy of Bayer Business Services since 2009. In addition to continuous strategic consulting, including the repositioning of the Bayer subsidiary in 2010, the agency also provides support with very practical design projects and individual activities. The measures focus both on the communications of BBS as an internal service provider of Bayer and on the branding of internal Group events.
Brand management / Brand strategy / Corporate identity
For the repositioning of Bayer Business Services as an internal service provider for the Bayer Group in 2010, SpiessConsult provided support in the development of the corporate mission and developed the new corporate design of Bayer Business Services, and implemented them in all accompanying measures. SpiessConsult continues to provide support in the ongoing positioning work of BS in the form of consistent messages in print, online and at internal Group events.
Since the relaunch of the BBS corporate design by SpC, concise uniform branding within the group of companies has ensured the recognizability and reinforcement of the messages. The agency has provided support at internal Group events such as the “Marketing Sales Summit” (2014), “Bayer Supplier Day” (2014) and “Travel Day” (2014). As part of the uniform branding, the agency’s work includes the content- and design-related implementation of intranet content; invitations, posters, roll-ups, print media and giveaways.
